The Basic Pet Owner Workshop aims to equip learners with no prior knowledge in pet grooming or animal care to learn the basics in Pet Grooming.
Cover several topics including:
- Grooming tools & maintenance
- Grooming needs
- Prepare pets & grooming environment
- Brushing & combing
- Nail clipping & Filing
- Ears cleaning
- Bathing & drying tips
- Underpaw fur trimming
- Sanitary fur trimming
- Parasite recognition
- Pet nutrition & dentistry.

Requirement and Remarks
- Tools will be provided
- Participants have to bring their own dog of <10kg
- Parasite infested, sick or aggressive dogs are not allowed
- Limited seats only
Module 1
- Identify grooming safety rules
- Identify canine related sicknesses and health issues
- Understanding grooming needs
Module 2
- Learn proper pre-bathing, bathing and drying techniques
- Learn how to perform animal clipping techniques
Module 3
- Learn to perform additional grooming services

Introduction to the world of cat grooming, or for those who already groom cats an opportunity to learn more productive techniques and skills.
